Have I told you lately that I love you? Deborah Lynn VanWyck Born May 27, 1969 - November 24, 2007
"You've never had a hug until you've been hugged by Debi"
Don’t cry for Debi, that life has set free A million white horses forever to be Don’t cry for Debi, now in God’s hands
As she dances and prances to a heavenly band She was ours as a gift, but never to keep As she closes her eyes, forever to sleep Her spirit unbound on silver wings she flies A million white horses, against the blue sky
Look up into heaven, you’ll see her above She is the horses we lost and the horses we loved Manes and tails flowing, they gallop through time, They were never yours, they were never mine
Don’t cry for Debi, she will be back someday When our time has come, she will show us the way. Do you hear that soft nicker, close in your ear? Don’t cry for Debi, love the ones that are here
Don, Suzanne & Demi Rogers of Rogers Heaven Sent Ranch sent their tribute for Debi: It seems like yesterday when we first met, we didn’t even own a mini yet. With a big smile you helped us take our first steps, a journey we shared with “Your” stars Robin and Sir. A heart so big for your horses and clients, you gave it your all and came out smiling. You showed every horse with style and grace and even beat Austin, taking first place! We will never forget your commitment and love and we know you will be watching and cheering us on from Heaven above. You will never be forgotten!
The AMHA lost a very close friend Saturday, November 24th. Debi Van Wyck passed away suddenly leaving behind her loving husband, best friend and partner, Austin Van Wyck, and her loving daughter Paige. Debi was more than a Performance Trainer, she was a teacher, a cheerleader, and a mentor to all who knew her. Our members will always remember her loving spirit, kind words, and her big happy smile. We have been getting many phone calls and emails asking about the funeral and other arrangements and would like to share this information with everyone who is interested.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Deborah Van Wyck
Memorial Fund (#457006528977) at any Bank of America.
Our thoughts and condolences are with the Van Wyck family during
this time. |
